A213 201 Seamless Condenser Tube can be welded using all conventional welding techniques and is also known as WNR 1.4372 Stainless Steel Seamless Pipe. A213 201 Condenser Tube has good corrosion resistance, formability and manufacturability compared to other steels due to the presence of high amounts of Chromium (Cr).
In addition, A213 201 Annealed Tube should be annealed at 1010-1093°C (1850-2000°F). The temperature should not exceed 2000°F to avoid scaling. It is cooled rapidly to prevent carbide crystallization.
