EN 10219 S355JOH Structural Carbon Pipe
S355J0H steel pipe is a special type of low-alloy high-strength structural steel, similar to S355JRH seamless steel pipe, but its impact temperature range is 0°C. This makes S355J0H carbon steel stamping pipe more widely used in cold areas.
In terms of chemical composition, the carbon (C) content of S355J0H carbon steel pipe does not exceed 0.22%, the silicon (Si) content does not exceed 0.55%, and the manganese (Mn) content does not exceed 1.60%. In addition, the contents of phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S) are also strictly limited and must not exceed 0.03%. The precise ratio of these chemical components ensures excellent mechanical and welding properties.
In terms of mechanical properties, S355J0H structural steel pipes have a yield strength (ReH) of at least 355 N/mm² and a tensile strength (Rm) between 510-680 N/mm². In addition, the elongation is at least 22% and the impact energy at -20°C needs to be at least 27 Joules. These properties make the material ideal for use in cryogenic environments.
In terms of application fields, EN 10219 S355JOH seamless pipes are mainly used in various structural and architectural applications that require cold-formed hollow profiles. For example, such steel pipes are often used in building construction, infrastructure projects, and other structural engineering applications.
