API 5l X60 seamless pipe has a minimum yield strength of 60ksi. This is reflected in the naming of the pipes. The pipe has a minimum tensile strength of 75ksi. These pipelines are primarily used in the oil and gas industry as transmission lines for oil and gas.
These pipes are seamless in production and available in different product specification levels such as PSL1 and 2. Nominal bore diameters range from 3/8 inch to 30 inches. API 5l Grade X60 Psl 2 is available in different sizes ranging from sch20 to XXS with wall thicknesses up to 250mm. There are different ends such as plain and beveled ends. L415 pipe is available in rolled, normalized, thermodynamically rolled, formed and other conditions.
