ANSI / ASME B16.9 180 Deg Elbow
ANSI/ASME B16.9 180-degree elbow is a pipe fitting that changes the direction of the pipe. Its radius of curvature R is usually less than or equal to 3 times the pipe diameter D. The most commonly used are long-radius elbows with R=1.5D and R =1D short radius elbow 1.
This kind of elbow is usually used where the direction of the pipe needs to be changed. Its angle is 180 degrees, which can make the direction of the pipe completely opposite. In addition, according to different connection types, elbows can also be divided into different types such as butt welding elbows, socket elbows, and threaded elbows.
