ASTM A350 LF6 alloy flanges are composed of vanadium microalloyed steel, a high-strength low-alloy steel with elements such as carbon, manganese, phosphorus, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen. Due to the "micro" addition of alloying elements, it significantly increases the strength and impact toughness of the steel while remaining cost-effective.
ASTM A350 LF6 low temperature carbon steel forged flanges have excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and also have high resistance to corrosion fatigue and erosion corrosion. These ASTM A350 LF6 forged flanges are intended for use in cryogenic service conditions and are specially designed for cryogenic applications.
