SA213 T23 ferritic alloy steel pipe has 1.90-2.60 chromium and 0.05-0.30 molybdenum added, so it is sometimes called chrome-molybdenum pipe. The chromium maintains the strength of the pipe as well as the elastic limit, impact quality, wear resistance and hardenability. Molybdenum improves high temperature creep strength.
