A334 Grade 1 Carbon Steel Pipe is a material designed for cryogenic pressure piping and pressure vessel applications to withstand impact and bending stresses. A334 Grade 1 Seamless Steel Pipe has a minimum tensile strength of 380 MPa and a minimum yield strength of 205 MPa.
A334 Grade 6 Steel Pipe has an outside diameter of less than 1 ⁄ 2 in. [12.7 mm] and is suitable for cryogenic use. The pipe should be manufactured using seamless or automatic welding processes, with no filler metal added during the welding operation.
