ASTM A333 Low Temperature Steel Pipes
ASTM A333 pipe is pipe for cryogenic applications, capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -150°F (-101°C). This pipe material maintains its mechanical properties and chemical stability at extremely low temperatures and is therefore widely used in industries such as petrochemical, natural gas, petroleum and chemical processing.

Seamless and welded pipes are both forms of ASTM A333 cryogenic pipes, with seamless pipes generally being more suitable for cryogenic applications because welds can become stress concentration points in extremely cold conditions, leading to cracks.
The application of this pipe material is very wide, not only limited to the petrochemical, natural gas, petroleum and chemical processing industries, but also used in the production and storage of liquefied natural gas (LNG). In these industries, cryogenic conditions may be encountered during transportation and processing, requiring the use of pipes that can withstand low temperatures.
