What is A53 Grade B material?
A53 Gr B steel pipe is a carbon steel grade designed for low pressure piping and structural steel applications. ASTM A53 Gr B seamless pipes consist of elemental composition consisting of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, copper, nickel, chromium, molybdenum and vanadium.
ASTM A53 Grade B coated pipes have higher load bearing capacity. Coating also isolates them from direct contact with corrosion and facilitates maintenance. Therefore ASTM A53 B seamless steel pipes can be used for groundwater extraction, hot water transmission, boilers, gas and oil transportation, hydrodynamic fluids, process machinery and other accessories.
