DIN 1629 Carbon Seamless Steel Pipes are round tubes made of non-alloy material and are available in three main grades, namely DIN 1629 ST 37.0, 44.0 and 52.0 which are all low carbon steels. Among them, ST52.0 grade contains silicon and manganese while other grades do not.
DIN 1629 structural steel pipes have the advantages of easy welding and forming, price advantage and hardness can be improved by heat treatment. Hence DIN 1629 seamless steel pipes are mainly used in the construction of chemical plants, ships, pipeline engineering and general mechanical engineering purposes.
