316 stainless steel pipe is a hollow long circular steel pipe. It is mainly used in industrial transportation pipelines and seasonal structural components such as petroleum, chemical industry, medical treatment, food, light industry, mechanical instrumentation, etc. The maximum carbon content of 316 stainless steel pipe is 0.03, which can be used in applications where annealing cannot be performed after welding and where maximum wear and corrosion resistance is required. It has good welding properties and can be welded using all standard welding methods.
Due to the addition of molybdenum element, 316 stainless steel pipes have greatly improved corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance. They have excellent work hardening properties (non-magnetic). The appearance of cold-rolled products is good and glossy. Compared with 304 stainless steel pipes, the performance of the products is better. has been improved and the price is relatively high. Nowadays, many home decorations and high-end commercial decorations use 316 stainless steel polished pipes. Because of its strong corrosion resistance, its service life will be longer than that of 304 stainless steel.
Generally, the specifications of 316 stainless steel pipes are 3 mm - 530 mm in diameter and 0.5 mm - 45 mm in wall thickness. Among them, 0.5-2 mm pipes are small-diameter seamless steel pipes, and 2-30 mm pipes are medium-diameter seamless steel pipes. Diameter seamless pipes, pipes >30 mm are large-diameter seamless steel pipes.
