Derived from the classic TP304 stainless steel, the A312 TP316 stainless steel pipe is enhanced with the addition of molybdenum to enhance pitting resistance in chloride environments, making the material stronger and more corrosion resistant.
A312 TP316 seamless pipes shall be manufactured by a process that does not involve welding at any stage of production. A312 TP316 cold drawn pipes are formed by drawing the raw material into a pipe shape through a process called cold drawing.
