A358 TP317 polished pipe has higher levels of chromium, nickel and molybdenum and also offers excellent resistance to chloride pitting and common corrosion. A358 TP317 electropolished pipe is not suitable for use at temperatures above 300 degrees Celsius as it is neither subject to precipitation of brittle trace components nor below -50 degrees Celsius due to its ductile to brittle transition.
A358 TP317 stainless steel polished pipe offers excellent corrosion resistance in a wide range of chemicals, especially in acidic chloride conditions for corrosive applications such as pulp and paper mills.
