UNS S31803/2205 Seamless Pipe consists of approximately 40-50% Ferrite in the annealed state. The Duplex microstructure has the high strength of the Ferrite grades while retaining the corrosion resistance of the Austenite grades. Often referred to as the Workhorse grade, 2205 is the most widely used grade in the Duplex stainless steel family.
With its superior strength and excellent oxidation resistance, UNS S31803 Stainless Steel Pipe has many applications in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical and Chemical Processing industries.
