What is EN10025-2 S235J2 SSAW pipe?
En 10025 carbon steel pipes contain carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus and sulfur. Carbon content is 0.2% of total weight.
EN10025-2 S235J2 pipe is manufactured in seamless and welded condition. The difference between the two is that welded pipe has a larger diameter and higher absolute roughness, while En 10025 seamless pipe has a lower absolute roughness and a smaller diameter.
S235J2 ERW pipe is used in high pressure, high temperature applications. The material has high corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, wear resistance and toughness. Welding S235J2 cold drawn tubing requires no preheating or post-weld heat treatment and can be welded by most conventional methods.
