A312 TP316LN low carbon stainless steel pipe is a nitride strengthened version of 316L stainless steel. Through solid solution strengthening, annealed nitrogen provides higher yield and tensile strengths than Type 316L without affecting ductility, corrosion resistance, or nonmagnetic properties. In the hot-rolled unannealed state, the yield strength can reach 75 ksi (518 MPa) or higher for A312 TP316LN hot-rolled stainless steel.
ASTM A312 TP 316LN Welded Pipe is used for primary forming of forged products and is suitable for many general engineering and industries such as oil transportation, chemical equipment and power plant pipelines.
