The chemical composition of DIN 17100 St44-2 LSAW Carbon Steel tube is mainly carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), phosphorus (P) and sulfur (S), of which the carbon content is low, usually 0.17 Between %-0.24%. This lower carbon content helps ensure good weldability and toughness of the steel.
The yield strength of St44-2 St44-2 LSAW pipe is usually around 235MPa, and the tensile strength is between 360-510MPa. It has good ductility and toughness, allowing the manufactured longitudinal submerged arc welded steel pipes to withstand large external forces and deformations.
