API 5CT L80 seamless casing and tubing include L80-1, L80 9Cr, L80 13Cr, L80, with a minimum tensile strength of 655 Mpa and a yield strength of 552 Mpa to 655 Mpa, which is a medium strength grade higher than J55/K55. API 5CT L80 oilfield steel pipe is not recommended for cold working after heat treatment. For those that have been oil quenched, modifications related to increased carbon content can be made.
API 5CT L80 steel pipe is a corrosion-resistant casing steel type, L80-1 pipe is used for H2S environment, L80-9Cr and L80-13Cr are used for CO2 environment.
