1.Connection methods of stainless steel water pipes:
1. Press-fit connection: divided into single press-fit and double press-fit. Double press-fit is the most stable connection method. The pipe fittings are clamped on the pipe by radial contraction external force (hydraulic clamp), and the connection effect is achieved through the water stop of the O-ring. It is easy to operate, has good sealing, and cannot be disassembled.
2. Expanding ring connection: The pipe fittings are clamped on the pipe by radial contraction external force (hydraulic clamp), and the connection effect is achieved through the water stop of the wide band rubber sealing ring. It is removable, and the pipe installation adds the process of rolling convex ring on the pipe end; the sealing is general, and the cost of cast pipe fittings is high.
3. Welding connection: The hot melt process is used to weld the two connectors to achieve the connection effect. The connection strength is high, and the gas protection of the weld seam of the on-site welding port is difficult to meet the standard, causing the weld seam to rust easily, which directly reduces the service life of the pipeline; the installation quality is highly dependent on the technology of the welding workers, and the quality is difficult to stabilize
4. Self-locking connection: It was first used for small-diameter plastic hose connection, and it can be installed quickly without the use of tools. The interface is prone to loosening and leaking, and the sealing is poor.
2. Classification of stainless steel water pipes:
1. Classification by production method:
(1) Seamless pipe: cold-drawn pipe, extruded pipe, cold-rolled pipe
(2) Welded pipe
(a) Classification by process: gas shielded welded pipe, arc welded pipe, resistance welded pipe (high frequency, low frequency)
(b) Classification by weld: straight seam welded pipe, spiral welded pipe
2. Classification by wall thickness: thin-walled steel pipe, thick-walled steel pipe
