3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe is widely used in pipeline engineering, officially named "three-layer polyethylene anti-corrosion steel pipe". Composed of an epoxy powder base layer, adhesive intermediate layer, and polyethylene outer layer, it offers excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.
The 3PE coating system consists of three functional layers:
‌Epoxy powder base layer‌ (80-150μm thickness)
Applied via electrostatic spraying to form a continuous protective film
Provides primary corrosion barrier and adhesion foundation
‌Adhesive intermediate layer‌ (170-250μm thickness)
Made of copolymer adhesive
Ensures interlayer bonding and anti-peeling performance
‌Polyethylene outer layer‌ (1.5-3.0mm thickness)
Constructed from HDPE or MDPE materials
Delivers mechanical protection, impact resistance, and moisture barrier
