L360 spiral steel pipe re-inspection requirements

1. Physical performance re-inspection

Physical performance is one of the key indicators for evaluating the quality of spiral steel pipes, mainly including strength and toughness.

1. Strength test: Through tensile test or compression test, the tensile strength and yield strength of spiral steel pipes are tested. These tests can intuitively reflect the bearing capacity of steel pipes under stress conditions to ensure that they will not break or other safety accidents during use.

2. Toughness test: Use methods such as torsion test to evaluate the plastic deformation ability of steel pipes when subjected to torsional stress. Steel pipes with good toughness can better resist external impact and extend service life.

2. Chemical composition re-inspection

Chemical composition is an important factor affecting the performance of spiral steel pipes. During re-inspection, it is necessary to focus on the content of key elements such as carbon, sulfur, phosphorus, and manganese.

-Chemical analysis method: Use chemical reagents to react with elements in steel pipe samples, and determine the element content by measuring the amount of reaction products. This process requires high precision to ensure that the chemical composition of the steel pipe meets the relevant standards.

3. Appearance quality re-inspection

Appearance quality is an important part of the re-inspection of spiral steel pipes, which is directly related to the use effect and aesthetics of the steel pipe.

-Surface defect inspection: Carefully check the surface of the steel pipe for cracks, grooves, pits and other defects by visual inspection or with the help of tools such as magnifying glasses. These defects not only affect the appearance of the steel pipe, but may also have an adverse effect on its performance.

-Dimension inspection: Use professional measuring tools to measure the key dimensions of the steel pipe, such as diameter and wall thickness, to ensure that they meet the design requirements. Steel pipes with excessive dimensional deviation will not meet the use requirements and need to be repaired or scrapped.

IV. Internal defect re-inspection

Internal defects are one of the difficulties in quality control of spiral steel pipes, and non-destructive testing technology is required for detection.

-Non-destructive testing: including ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, penetration testing, magnetic particle testing and other methods. These methods can effectively detect internal cracks, pores, slag inclusions and other defects without destroying the steel pipe structure. For steel pipes with defects, corresponding treatment measures should be taken according to the severity of the defects.
