1. Differences in production processes

For example, seamless steel pipes produced by cold rolling or cold drawing processes have smoother surfaces and higher dimensional accuracy, which are suitable for occasions with high precision requirements. Hot-rolled seamless steel pipes are more suitable for general mechanical processing and structural engineering.

3. Differences in application fields
Finally, there are certain differences between hot-rolled seamless steel pipes and seamless steel pipes in terms of application fields. Since hot-rolled seamless steel pipes have good mechanical properties and pressure-bearing capacity, they are widely used in petroleum, chemical, electric power and other fields for conveying fluids.
