Manufacturing process
1. Welded steel pipe
The production process of welded steel pipe usually includes three basic processes: forming, welding and finishing. Specifically:
Forming: Use hot-rolled or cold-rolled strip as raw material, and bend the strip into a tube with straight seam or spiral seam.
Welding: Use different heat sources to heat the edge of the joint, and obtain a weld with a certain strength through pressure welding or fusion welding. Welding methods generally include power frequency or high frequency resistance welding, induction welding, flash welding, etc., with high frequency resistance welding as the main method.
Finishing: Then sizing, cutting, straightening, heat treatment, water pressure test and coating are used to make the finished pipe.
2. Seamless steel pipe
The production method of seamless steel pipe is roughly divided into oblique rolling method and extrusion method.
Oblique rolling method: First use oblique rolling rollers to perforate the tube embryo, and then use a rolling mill to extend it.
Extrusion method: Use a piercing machine to perforate the tube embryo or ingot, and then use an extruder to extrude it into a steel pipe.
Scope of use
1. Welded steel pipes
Petroleum, natural gas and chemical pipelines: non-ferrous metal smelting, fine chemicals, petrochemicals and other fields.
Aerospace field: such as fire pipelines of rocket engines, fuel injection pipelines of aircraft engines, etc.
Construction engineering: side wall support, roof, columns and other parts.
Bridge engineering: bridge brackets, cable supports and other parts.
2. Seamless steel pipes
Seamless steel pipes have a wide range of uses, including but not limited to:
Structure: such as underground pipeline transportation in the construction field.
Fluid transportation: such as the transportation of fluids such as oil, natural gas, coal gas, water, etc.
Boilers: low and medium pressure boilers, high pressure boilers.
Chemical equipment: such as fertilizer equipment, oil cracking.
Drilling: geological drilling, diamond core drilling, oil drilling.
