A333 A334 Low Temp Carbon Pipe

The ASTM A333 standard covers seamless and welded steel pipe for use in cryogenic environments, with ASTM A333 Grade 6 being the most commonly used specification for cryogenic service pipes. Suitable for cryogenic environments as low as -50°F (-45°C), these pipes are widely used in the oil and gas industry for transporting cryogenic fluids. This steel has good impact properties at low temperatures.
ASTM A334 specification specifies minimum wall thickness for carbon and alloy steel pipe used at low temperatures, including multiple grades of seamless and welded steel pipe. In practical applications, grade 1 and grade 6 low-temperature steel pipes are most commonly used.
Low-temperature resistant ASTM A333 seamless pipes use low-sulfur, low-phosphorus, high-purity steel and undergo calcification treatment, which can effectively reduce the low-temperature brittleness of the steel and improve the impact toughness of the product. Gnee is equipped with a 0~-100℃ cooling tank, which can conduct low-temperature impact tests in batches to ensure the quality stability of factory products.
A333 and A334 low-temperature resistant pipes are mainly used for -45℃~-195℃ low-temperature pressure vessel pipes and low-temperature heat exchanger pipes. They can also be used for fluid transportation pipes in low-temperature environments. API 5CT low-temperature resistant oil casing is mainly used for oil well extraction in extremely cold areas.
