ASTM A252 Standard specification for welded steel pipe piles.
This specification covers nominal wall cylindrical steel pipe piles in which the steel barrel serves as a permanent load-bearing member or as an outer shell forming a cast-in-place concrete pile. Each welding pile shall be seamless welded, resistance welded, flash welded or fusion welded, and shall adopt longitudinal seam, spiral butt seam or spiral lap seam.
Application: Steel tubes as permanent load-bearing members or as casings forming cast-in-place concrete piles.
