Steel pipe anti-corrosion is to prevent chemical or physical corrosion of steel pipes and increase their service life. In PE anti-corrosion steel pipe processing and transportation of oil, water, natural gas and other pipeline projects, steel pipes will be used as medium transportation materials. However, the material and chemical elements of some steel pipes determine that they do not have long-term corrosion resistance, thus greatly shortening the service life. , whether buried underground or overhead, we will face this problem, so how to solve this problem? Later, people invented the method of coating the outer or inner walls of steel pipes with anti-corrosion to effectively control and prevent the corrosion of steel pipes.
Pipes are coated with 3LPE on the outside and epoxy resin on the inside.
This is a measure to slow down or prevent the corrosion and deterioration of pipelines under the chemical and electrochemical effects of internal and external media or through the metabolic activity of microorganisms. Most oil and natural gas transmission pipelines are located in complex soil environments, and the transported media are corrosive, so corrosion may occur on the inner and outer walls of the pipelines. Once the pipeline is corroded or perforated, it will cause oil and gas leakage, which will not only interrupt transportation, but also pollute the environment, and may even cause fires and cause harm.
Pipe anti-corrosion is a thin film coated on the inner wall of the pipeline in order to prevent corrosion within the pipeline, reduce friction resistance, and increase transportation capacity. Commonly used coatings include amine-cured epoxy resin and polyamide epoxy resin, and the coating thickness is 0.038 ~ 0.2 mm. In order to ensure that the coating is firmly bonded to the pipe wall, the inner wall of the pipe wall must be surface treated. Starting in the 1970s, the same material was used to coat the inner and outer walls of the pipe, allowing the coating of the inner and outer walls of the pipe to be carried out simultaneously.
