ASTM A182 F304 Stainless Steel Flanges
A182 F304L stainless steel flange is a high-quality pipeline connection, mainly composed of chromium, nickel, manganese, silicon and other elements. Among them, chromium occupies a very important position, usually accounting for 18% of the total amount of stainless steel. A unique property of chromium is that it can react with oxygen to form a dense oxide film. This oxide film plays a very good anti-corrosion role and greatly enhances the corrosion resistance of the flange.
In terms of physical properties, the hardness of A182 F304L flange is generally 90HB, the yield strength is not less than 205MPa, the tensile strength is not less than 515MPa, and the elongation exceeds 30%. These performance parameters are closely related to their chemical composition.
