ASTM A182 F44 Flange

ASTM A182 F44 plate flange is made of chromium, nickel, molybdenum alloy. The flange contains 19% chromium, 17% nickel, 6% molybdenum as main components. Due to the high molybdenum content of ASTM A182 F44 forged flange, it has very high resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in acids containing halide. In addition, ASTM A182 F44 stainless steel flange is a high-nickel, high-chromium, and high-molybdenum stainless steel flange. Super stainless steel flange has enhanced high temperature resistance or corrosion resistance, which cannot be replaced by 304 stainless steel flange.
ASTM A182 F44 blind flanges are preferred for pipe end applications. These flanges seal the pipe in place under high pressure. ASTM A182 F44 high temperature flange has a melting point up to 1390 degrees Celsius and therefore can be used in high temperature and high pressure applications such as power generation, heat exchangers, boilers and petrochemical industry applications.
