The main element composition of A213 T17 seamless steel pipes consists of carbon and iron, but contains other alloying elements such as chromium, nickel, titanium, vanadium and phosphorus to increase the hardness and strength of the material while improving corrosion resistance. The chromium in A213 T17 seamless alloy pipes greatly improves the high temperature performance and can be used in permanent operation with wall temperatures up to about 590 °C.
