A358 310H hollow pipes have higher carbon content and higher strength at high temperatures, so they are often used in structural and pressure-containing applications with temperatures above about 500 degrees Celsius and up to 800 degrees Celsius. A358 310H welded hollow pipes will reduce their oxidation resistance and have poor resistance to carbon and nitrogen absorption under cyclic conditions. The maximum temperature recommended for cyclic conditions is 1900°F.
A358 310H hollow stainless steel pipes have good machinability and excellent welding performance characteristics with or without the addition of filler metal.
