ASTM A213 Heat Exchanger Tubes
A213 alloy pipes are ferritic and Austrian alloy steel seamless steel pipes for boilers, superheaters and heat exchangers (ASTM A213/A213M-07a), and T91 alloy pipes are used in low and medium pressure boilers (working pressure is generally not greater than 5.88Mpa, working temperature below 450℃); heating surface pipes, economizers, superheaters, reheaters, Pipes for petrochemical industry, etc.
The final heat treatment of A213 heat exchanger steel pipe is normalizing + high temperature tempering. The normalizing temperature is 1040℃, the holding time is not less than 10 min, the tempering temperature is 730~780℃, the holding time is not less than 1h. After the final heat treatment The structure is tempered martensite.
A213 T91 steel pipe has normal temperature tensile strength ≥ 585 MPa, normal temperature yield strength ≥ 415 MPa, hardness ≤ 250 HB, elongation (standard circular specimen with 50 mm gauge) ≥ 20%, allowable stress value [σ] 650℃=30 MPa.

The preparation method includes: billet smelting, which involves smelting, refining, vacuum degassing, and continuous casting of round tube billets; annealing treatment, which involves subjecting the billet to high-temperature diffusion annealing or low-temperature isothermal annealing; and periodic tube rolling, which undergoes The annealed billet is soaked, and the billet is hot-rolled, perforated, sized, and cooled after soaking; and heat treatment is performed by heating the cyclically rolled steel pipe to 1040-1080°C, normalizing, cooling, and then heating. to 750 ~ 800℃, tempered, heat-insulated and then cooled to produce seamless steel pipes.
