What is A423 pipe?
ASTM A423 Grade 1 Steel Tubes covers minimum-wall-thickness, seamless and electric-resistance welded, low-alloy steel tubes for pressure containing parts such as economizers or other applications where corrosion resistance is important.

A423 GR1 alloy steel pipe is a seamless and welded corrosion-resistant alloy steel pipe. Its chemical elemental composition typically contains approximately 0.19% carbon, 0.8% manganese, 0.03% sulfur, 0.035% phosphorus, 0.15% silicon, 0.04% copper, and 0.3% nickel.
The mechanical properties of A423 GR1 heat exchanger tube are: tensile strength is 310MPa, yield strength is 170MPa, and elongation is 30%.
