The chemical composition of EN 10084 16MnCr5 Cold Rolled Tube has carbon, chromium and manganese with carbon content of 0.14-0.19 being a low carbon steel tube. To increase the strength of EN 10084 Structural Tube it is surface hardened and aged. It can be hardened in the temperature range of 780-820°C and then oil or quenched.
EN 10084 grade 16MnCr5 pipes are cost effective and can be used in highly corrosive and high heat applications such as boiler tubes, heat exchangers, petrochemicals as well as industrial applications.
