A333 GR.1 carbon steel pipe is made from a carbon-based alloy and is suitable for cryogenic applications. The chemical composition of A333 GR.1 seamless carbon steel pipe includes - manganese, phosphorus and sulfur. The tensile strength and yield strength of A333 GR.1 seamless pipe vary between its grades. For example, grade 1 has a tensile strength of 380MPa and a yield strength of 205MPa.
A333 GR.1 round carbon steel pipe surface treatment includes coating or oil immersion, phosphating, varnish, passivation or shot peening. They can also be anodized or polished. This treatment gives the A333 gr 1 cryogenic tube a smooth and flawless surface. A333 GR.1 steel pipe may be conventionally formed, cold worked and welded, but no filler metal is added during the welding operation. . A333 GR.1 tube may be heat worked, but not below 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. A333 GR.1 is often used in seamless steel pipes for the transportation of chemicals, water and natural gas.
