A269 TP904L seamless stainless steel tube is a high alloy, low carbon, non-stabilized austenitic stainless steel. Due to the high nickel and molybdenum content, it has excellent resistance to acid attack, such as sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid and acetic acid. In addition, A269 TP904L round tube also exhibits good resistance to stress-related corrosion cracking. The presence of molybdenum in the alloy reduces the occurrence of crevice corrosion.
A269 TP904L stainless steel thin wall tube is mainly used for general corrosion applications in addition to applications between medium and high temperatures. Such as pulp and paper industry, heat exchangers, condensers, chemical equipment, seawater, pharmaceuticals, etc.
