A270 TP316 Thin Wall is a molybdenum-containing austenitic stainless steel. 2% to 3% of molybdenum is added to 304 stainless steel, thereby improving its corrosion resistance, especially its ability to resist chloride corrosion. A270 TP316 Seamless Thin Wall Pipe is used for high pressure and high temperature applications. The pipe is designed without any welds and is a single piece of metal produced through an extrusion process.
