A312 309S Seamless Pipe is made of chromium-nickel alloy and is used for high temperature services. The minimum tensile strength of this pipe is 590MPa and the fatigue limit is 260MPa. The only significant difference between A312 309S Stainless Steel Pipe and 309 is the carbon content. Alloy 309S has a much lesser carbon content, which minimizes carbide precipitation and improves weldability.
