Thick-walled straight-seam steel pipe refers to a steel pipe whose outer diameter to wall thickness ratio is less than 20.
Thick-walled straight seam steel pipes are mainly used in petroleum geological drilling pipes, cracking pipes for petrochemical industry, boiler pipes, bearing pipes, and high-precision structural pipes for automobiles, tractors, and aviation.
The biggest difference between thick-walled straight seam steel pipes and thin-walled straight seam steel pipes is the thickness of the steel pipe wall.
