A213 TP309S stainless steel pipe is a low carbon version of 309 stainless steel pipe, a highly alloyed austenitic stainless steel used for its excellent oxidation resistance, high temperature strength and creep resistance. A213 TP309S high temperature stainless steel pipe resists oxidation up to 1900°F under non-cycling conditions. Frequent thermal cycling reduces oxidation resistance to approximately 1850°F.
Hence the high temperature strength and corrosion resistance of A213 TP309S. makes it ideal for applications such as gas and oil transportation, pressure and heat transfer, boilers and radiators.
