Standard thicknesses for cement mortar linings are defined in C205, but AMERICAN can supply thicker linings when required. Please note that the increased lining thickness may affect the final cement lined pipe length or shipping costs due to the added weight.
Concrete lined steel pipes help reduce the nodulation process within the pipes. The lining creates a high pH near the pipe wall. This helps create a barrier between the pipe and the wall, reducing the risk of corrosion. Concrete coated steel pipes are highly versatile and rigid. The pipeline is widely used to transport drinking water, sewage, cooling water services, oil and gas seawater, etc.
