Heat treatment process analysis Usually, the heat treatment process of 30CrMo sleeves is divided into two steps: quenching and tempering. Quenching is to quickly cool the sleeve at high temperature to make its structure undergo phase change and produce high strength. Tempering means that after quenching, the sleeve is heated at an appropriate temperature for a period of time to produce better mechanical properties and good toughness, thereby reducing the occurrence of quality defects such as cracks. The heat treatment process of 30CrMo sleeves mainly needs to pay attention to the following aspects: 1. Heating temperature and holding time: Heating temperature and holding time directly affect the organizational structure and mechanical properties of the sleeve. It is generally recommended that the heating temperature is about 860℃, and the holding time depends on the size and shape of the sleeve, between 10 and 30 minutes.
30CrMo steel can be used to manufacture conduits with working temperatures below 400°C, fasteners in boilers and steam turbines with working temperatures below 450°C, nuts and flanges for high pressure with working temperatures below 500°C, spindles, shafts, gears, bolts, studs, and control wheels that bear heavy loads in general machinery, high-pressure conduits and welded parts working in nitrogen and hydrogen media below 250°C in chemical equipment.
