42CrMo4, also known as DIN 1.7225 steel, is a European standard high-strength alloy structural steel pipe. Containing chromium, molybdenum and manganese elements, it has high fatigue strength, toughness, wear resistance and impact resistance. This makes 42CrMo4 seamless round steel pipe an ideal choice for high stress applications and can be used for parts that are subjected to repeated stress and impact loads.
The 42CrMo4 alloy mechanical pipe also has good hardenability, making it suitable for heat treatment processes such as quenching and tempering to achieve higher levels of hardness and strength.
