ASTM A335,A213,DIN17175 High pressure and temperature Alloy Seamless Steel Pipe

High-temperature and high-pressure alloy seamless steel pipes‌ are a specialized type of steel pipe primarily used in conveying systems subjected to high pressure, elevated temperatures, or corrosive media. Made from premium alloy steel materials and compliant with standards such as ‌ASTM A335, A213, DIN 17175, and EN 10216‌, these pipes are manufactured through specialized processes to deliver exceptional mechanical properties and corrosion resistance.

The seamless production process ensures a uniform and dense internal structure without welded seams, resulting in ‌higher reliability and safety‌ under high-pressure conditions.

Process

Raw Material Preparation:‌ High-purity alloy steel billets compliant with standards are selected, with strict control over chemical composition and impurity content. The quality of raw materials directly impacts the final product's performance.

Heating & Piercing:‌ The billets are heated to an appropriate temperature and then pierced into hollow tube blanks using a piercing mill. This process requires precise temperature and time control to ensure material properties.

Rolling & Drawing:‌ The tube blanks undergo multiple passes of rolling and drawing to gradually achieve the required dimensions and wall thickness. Control of process parameters is particularly critical at this stage.

Heat Treatment:‌ The steel pipes undergo heat treatment processes such as quenching and tempering to achieve the desired microstructure and mechanical properties. Different alloy compositions require tailored heat treatment regimes.

Finishing & Inspection:‌ This includes straightening, cutting, surface treatment, and finally ensuring product quality through various methods such as non-destructive testing (NDT) and hydrostatic testing.
