A finned pipe is a tube that transfers heat from hot fluid to cooler fluid through the tube wall. By increasing the outer surface area of the tubes, the overall heat transfer rate increases, thereby reducing the total number of tubes required. In many cases finned tubes replace six or more bare tubes at 1/3 the cost and 1/4 the cost.
What is the base tube material of the fin tube?
1. carbon steel pipe
ASTM A53/A179/A192/a210/A106 GR. B./API 5L GR. B.
2. Stainless steel/super duplex steel pipe
ASTM A269/A789/A1012 grades TP304, TP304L, TP316, TP316L, TP321 and duplex
3.Alloy steel pipe

ASTM A213 T5., T9, T11, T22 and T91
4. Copper and copper alloy tubes
ASTM B111.
ASTM B359.
5.Titanium and Ti alloy tubes
ASTM B338.
ASTM B891.
What are the available base tube sizes for fin tubes?
Outer diameter: 12.7/15.8/19.05 and 25.4mm
Ordinary end wall thickness: > = 1.25mm
Length: up to 25,000 mm
What is a steel fin tube?
Fin tubes are mainly used in high temperature conditions and corrosive atmospheric conditions, such as boiler economical parts, heat exchangers and convection sections of process heaters and oil coolers. Common application areas are: Energy Industry Chemical and Petrochemical Industry Food Processing and Refrigeration Industry Oil and Gas Industry
