Recently, GNEE completed an order for API 5L ERW steel pipes. Korean customers made a special trip to visit our API 5L ERW steel pipe production line and inspect the API 5L ERW pipes.
During the visit, we introduced the production process and technical features of API 5L ERW steel pipes to Korean customers in detail. ERW (resistance welded) steel pipe is a steel pipe in which the edge of the steel plate is melted by high-frequency current and pressure-welded to form. It has the advantages of high production efficiency, low cost, and stable quality. The ERW steel pipe production line uses advanced equipment and processes to ensure that the dimensional accuracy, mechanical properties and welding quality of the steel pipes meet the requirements of API 5L standards.

Korean customers have shown strong interest in all aspects of the production line, especially in high-frequency welding and online inspection. We showed our customers the principles and advantages of high-frequency welding technology, and how to conduct comprehensive quality inspections on steel pipes through online inspection equipment to ensure that every steel pipe meets standards.

Subsequently, the steel pipe inspection is carried out together with the customer. GNEE has the appropriate equipment and tools, such as spectrum analyzer, universal testing machine, impact testing machine, etc., to conduct chemical composition analysis, mechanical performance testing, etc. Randomly select samples from the entire batch of steel pipes for testing to ensure the representativeness of the samples. At the same time, attention will also be paid to the handling and storage of samples to avoid contamination or damage before testing.

The inspection was completed and the customer was very satisfied.
