ASME B16.9 Carbon Steel Elbow

ANSI B16.9 Elbows are part of a family of pipe fittings available in diameters from 1/2 inch to 48 inches. Pipe fittings are products used to join pipes or pipe parts together without compromising the integrity of the entire pipe.
ASME B16.9 Carbon Steel 90 Degree Elbow makes it suitable for small to medium piping applications. Different grades of materials are also used in the production of accessories. Elbows also come in different types, shapes and sizes.

The ASME B16.9 standard specifies dimensions and tolerances for butt weld fittings, including elbows, in sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to 48 inches in diameter.
ASME B16.9 long-radius elbows are designated L/R elbows with a center-to-end dimension of 1.5 times the nominal pipe size (NPS) in inches. For example, a 6-inch long radius elbow measures 9 inches from center to end.
ASME B16.9 short radius elbow, denoted S/R elbow. The center to end dimensions of these elbows are equal to the nominal pipe size (NPS) in inches.
ASME B16.9 elbows are available in a variety of materials, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel. It can be made into 90 degree elbow, 45 degree elbow or other angles as needed.
