Structural seamless pipe A335
A335 P91 alloy pipe is a heat-resistant steel with pearlite structure. It has excellent thermal strength and oxidation resistance and can resist hydrogen corrosion at high temperatures. Due to the high content of alloying elements such as Cr and C, the welding performance of this steel type is weak. P91 seamless alloy pipe is equivalent to the national standard 10Cr9Mo1VNb. Its characteristics include excellent impact toughness, durable plasticity and thermal strength. At temperatures below 620°C, its allowable stress even exceeds that of austenitic stainless steel. Above 550°C, its design allowable stress is approximately twice that of T9 and 2.25Cr-1Mo steel.
A335 P91 heat-resistant alloy tubes are widely used. It can be used as high-temperature superheater and reheater steel pipes for subcritical and supercritical boilers with wall temperatures below 625°C, as well as high-temperature headers and steam pipes with wall temperatures below 600°C. In addition, it is used as a nuclear power heat exchanger and a furnace tube in a petroleum cracking unit.
