GB/T 3077 40cr Seamless Steel Pipe

40Cr steel pipe is the standard steel grade of China GB, and 40Cr alloy steel pipe is one of the most widely used steels in the machinery manufacturing industry. After quenching and tempering treatment, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties, good low-temperature impact toughness and low notch sensitivity.
40Cr seamless steel pipe has good hardenability. It can be hardened to Ф28~60mm during water quenching and to Ф15~40mm during oil quenching. In addition to quenching and tempering, this steel is also suitable for cyanidation and high-frequency quenching. The cutting performance is good. When the hardness is 174~229HB, the relative cutting processability is 60%. This steel is suitable for making medium-sized plastic molds and shaft accessories.
40Cr alloy round tube is quenched at 850℃, oil-cooled; tempered at 220℃, water-cooled, oil-cooled, and air-cooled. The surface quenching hardness is 52-60HRC, and the flame quenching can reach 48-55HRC.
