The minimum yield strength of DIN 2440 St33-2 steel pipe is 185MPa and the minimum tensile strength is 310MPa. DIN 2440 St33-2 threaded steel pipe has internal threads that can be quickly connected without welding, avoiding the flame or explosion that may occur when using welding to connect to fittings or flanges.
DIN 2440 St33-2 low carbon steel pipe has a lower cost, lower corrosion resistance and hardness compared to the high carbon version but can be improved through surface hardening and coating treatment.
