Alloy 2507 is a super duplex stainless steel that contains a large amount of chromium, molybdenum and nickel, and nitrogen is added to increase the stability of austenite in the super duplex 2507 pipe structure. 2705 duplex stainless steel pipes also have high impact resistance. Due to the risk of reduced toughness, it is not recommended to use it for long-term exposure to temperatures exceeding 570°F.
2507 super duplex steel precision pipes have excellent resistance to pitting and stress corrosion cracking caused by chlorides. Suitable for high chloride working environments such as seawater cooling, salt evaporation, seawater desalination, etc.
